(((pditty)) - I'm sorry your anxiety is high ATM...good thing torn up jeans are in style...little humor there I used to have panic attacks as a little girl - I had no idea what was happening and too embarrassed to tell anyone. Anything in particular setting you off? I hope it calms down soon. Remember slow deep breathing.

Pditty,

Do you know what has triggered this onset of extreme anxiety? Just know that we are here for you. Keep posting and talking it out.

Nancy

Psalm 16:7-8 NLT
The steps of the godly are directed by the Lord. He delights in every detail of their lives. Though they stumble, they will not fall, for the Lord holds them by the hand.
Psalm 37:23-24

Giving thanks that God is near

Sometimes we try to "ride out the storms" in our lives — doing this the best we can. We think, If I can just hang on and be strong, I can get through this. David knew he couldn't make it on his own. In the past, he had found help in the Lord God. And in this prayer, David again sought the Lord's protection: "Keep me safe, O God, for I have come to you for refuge" (v. 1). He rejoiced in the guidance and assistance the Lord had given him. Though his enemies were trying to shake and topple him, David stood firm because God was "right beside" him.

In prayer today, acknowledge that God is right beside you — upholding and guiding you. Thank him that he helps you and does not leave you to struggle on your own.

A prayer for today…

Dear Lord, I will not be shaken, for you are right beside me…

pditty,

I'm really sorry you're having another bout. It must be so frustrating for you and so expensive as you mentioned last time.

Why don't you go to a goodwill store and buy up 10 pairs of pants at a time and hang them in your closet so that when this hits you have some thing other than your good clothes to tear up?

Hope it settles for you soon pditty

Are ativan the blue cobra, carnt live with it carnt live without it. saved my life an nigh on took it to. she is like a jelouse woman to me, mistreat her an she will hurt you. except her heart an fly the cosmos, only to crash an burn. I remember when my anxierty would make me run up an down the stairs to try to fight it, an the wife would make a frantic call to the gp for a 2mg ativan just to bring me back. 1 week to dtox heroin in a hospital plus back up. 1 year to detox say 6mg ativan , an the chances are you wont make it. The blue cobra has a bite, an the kiss of death if not careful. 1MG OF ATIVAN IS 10 MG VALIUM 1MG XANAX 20MG OF VALIUM. NOW DO THE MATHS ON HOW MUCH YOU TAKE . IF YOU HAVE TOOK 2MG OF ATIVAN FOR 6 MONTH EVERY DAY , YOU ARE NOW AN ADDICT.

Hi Pditty I hope your pdoc is helpful. It sounds like you have a good way to vent? I have torn pages out of magazines when I got really angry.
I hope you are able to stay calm and anxiety does not overcome you..
