Just wondering if anyone else gets this:

Your thoughts and mind in general starts to speed up a lot, which leads to panic and severe nausea. It's quite bothersome because I always fear that I will throw up.

Does anyone have any tips on how to overcome this? Anything is greatly appreciated, thank you!

Hello Melissa,

I have this constantly, the reason I use the internet is to deliberately re-focus my attention off the racing thoughts.

For the nausea though the only things I've found that work are ginger beer or stemazine.

Hope this helps some Melissa, it's an awful feeling

Deep relaxation helps me sometimes as well as learning to slow down since I am usually fast paced and stressed when it happens.

Hi (((((Melissa))))) I get something similar to this and I worry about throwing up too. As the others have said, I also try and distract myself. And sometimes I just have to lay down and wait until I feel better. Definitely learning some relaxation techniques is helpful. I find that if I can keep my overall level of anxiety at a lower level, then I'm less vulnerable to these episodes.

Hugs to you!

two things that get me like this are being in a car too long & knowing that im goin to the store on top of that and also ultra sensitive to caffeine. have to watch the coffee no more than 8oz of regular then decaf. today was bad cuz i was out of decaf & drank reg coffee & was miserable paranoid hearing things sick to stomach then it makes me want to take more of my klonopins than im supposed to so i can come down & have relief. i guess ill get a brain one of these days & not overdo my coffee limit.

Hello, Melissa. Maybe some grounding techniques might help:
