Been there!

For a long time I didn't realize that I was scared. I would be with friends trying to decide what to do for the night and I'd shoot down idea after idea "too many people at the movies on a friday" or "that restaurant will be crowded at dinner time--let's go late." I would constantly start to go to a store or building, see a lot of people inside, and turn right around and leave!

I would feel really closed in and just think about getting away. But somehow for a long time I just thought I preferred to be away from crowds. When I finally realized I was scared, I found ways to deal with it better.

It's a pain, isn't it? Hope it gets better for you!

I know how you feel. I have a fear of crowds too, and I've realized that it's more a fear of people themselves. I always worry people are judging me, no matter where I go, so I hate being in social situations, especially when there's a lot of people. I think the solution to the problem is getting to the bottom of why you are afraid of the crowds. For me it was because of my fear of being judged, so I knew that from then on I had to start working on my confidence. It all just depends on where the fear comes from.

Hell yes, the other day i went to schoolies (the big graduation party of the state) and once i went in i ran out, and my friends were angry at me for a very long time.
I don't go in shopping centres, answer my phone or walk along roads.
Its ruining my life.

I am scared of going out in general. I've been inside so much that I am at the point where I long to be among people! I want to go to the mall. I have been up late(as usual) a few night and opened my window and stared out to see if there were lights on in anyone's houses. I wondered what they were doing.
