I know how you feel. It seems to me that if things are going right in my life everyone is there and ready to support me. However, when times are bad everyone runs from me. Interestingly everyone wants me to be supportive of them and expects me to listen to all of their trivial complaints. To me it is unfair that it is all take and no give. Stay strong.

I'm not sure how old you are, but this doesn't change. I'm 36 and finally told my family today that there is no way they could ever truly understand what life is like with my 10 yr old. My mom gives me self help books on disciplining my children, but my 10 year old has Tourette Syndrome, ADHD, OCD, bipolar and ODD. We have no discipline. I myself have depression. I feel like I'm going to explode and my family and friends don't get it at all. I'm not sure who to talk to, but I need to talk. I'm pretty new here and can't get on much, but I like being in "familiar" territory. I've read so many posts that feel and sound like me. Like someone understands.

Hey! if you go to school, talk to the school nurse!
thats what i did, and im going to a professional now.. it helps
another thing youcan try, is to tell your family a bout it! tell them how you feel about them not being suportive.

I wish you the best! and please be strong, even if life seems terrible now.. dn't give up!
Thanks for this!
