I hope you are feeling better now!!! It can be so consuming when you are in the midst. Then after I have one I look back and sometimes almost feel embarassed by how I reacted, but I still can't stop them when they spiral out of control. Although I am slowly starting to get a little control over them through the meds and therapy.
GOOD LUCK!

Ended up going to the local hospital. Just got home. They did some test. Nothing really showed up, but it was the pain that made me get anxious then panic. Still very anxious though.... Thanks for your support guys

I'm really glad you went to get checked out and that nothing bad showed up (even though I know how frustrating it is to feel really bad physically and to be told there's "nothing wrong with you"). But if you're in a lot of pain from your shoulder then that does make sense. I also get anxious when I feel physical pain that won't go away, and that can trigger panic in me too.
I really hope your shoulder feels better very soon. Did they give you anything for that at the hospital?

Yeh, they offered me morphine, but i said no to that. Cause i don't like that feeling u get from it and then they said tramadol which i said no to as well, basically cause of the same reasons. So the gave me prodeine forte. And this stuff to drink. can't remember what it was called but to help with my esophagus.

I sometimes feel dizzy when I'm having a panic attack. Light-headed too. As if I'm about to pass out.
I hope the stuff they gave you for your shoulder and esophagus helps ![]()

Ambrosa, any physical problem can make me spiral into panic too. It just does. Even just "not feeling quite right" is enough to make me freak sometimes.
And yes, I do get dizzy or lightheaded from time to time. Sometimes it's more like I'm just sort of floating a bit. I don't know, it's weird. I hope you're feeling better. Cyran0

Yeah, dizzy, or just completely unable to concentrate, and the harder I try the less I'm able to do so.

I think the dizziness comes from the breathing that accompanies panic attacks. I know it does for me. I've hyper-ventilated to the point that I passed out. The doctor told my husband that passing out was probably the best thing because my body would take over and return my breathing to normal. Ended up going to hospital to get a shot because my anxiety meds weren't working. T said in the future to really pay attention to my breathing to avoid another episode like that...easier said than done!
It's hard to think of anything else when you're completely consumed with anxiety!

It was back up the hospital for me again. I had such sever chest pain that when i breathed, laid on my belly, lent forward. It started in the centre of my chest then would span out all the way across both sides. I could even feel it in by back. I rang this health line asking for there advise but couldn't calm down. It kept getting wore over a period of 2 1/2 hours. to the point I had convinced my self it was a heart attack. The DR said they think it is Costochondritis... I am so sick of all these chest pains. I am always constantly thinking heart attack all day long. I go good for a couple of days telling myself it is only this and this. But i have become so weak mined now hard. I just want all this pain to go away. I have had problems with my chest for about 6-7months now, 1 joint in my shoulder is inflamed and has made cause knots and other things in my left Breast, 2 Esophagus, 3 Costochondritis. My Dr said i had that about 4 months ago but i thought it went away but it apparently has flared up again. Sorry just venting

![]() I really feel for you!!! I can so relate to everything you say here. Did they give you something for the costochondritis? I hope you can get some rest and that all these muscular problems will heal. What you're going through is really rough for someone with bad anxiety ![]() ![]()
