Hi all,
So I have this annoying phobia that if I don't have a water bottle or water source by me at all times I start to panic. It's really bad in gym class becaus the coaches hate it and so does my band director. I had to go in an ambulance in January because of an anxiety attack and dehydration which started the phobia, it got worse when I saved my brother from choking. I have few friends and the whole school day only see them at lunch and then don't talk to anyone the rest of the day. I really want to get rid of this phobia please help. |

Hi budgiegirl. I'm sorry you have to go through this. My brother and one of his old friends are the same they can't go anywhere with out a water bottle. It's like a safety net for them. Since my brother went on meds for his anxiety. He doesn't need to carry it around with him just about everywhere. Are you seeing Therapist at all?

Hi Budgiegirl. Welcome! I can relate. I have a thing about always needing to have water with me too. Water is the only thing I drink. Luckily it's something that is easy to carry around and it doesn't really cause me any problems. But it sounds like it is distressing to you and I can definitely understand why you have developed a phobia based on your experience of actual dehydration, panic attacks etc
![]() I agree with Ambrosa that therapy could be very helpful. I hope that's an option for you. Let us know how you're doing! ![]()
