One of my closest friends was diagnosed with anxiety last week, he sufferes from depression and has tried to kill himself, he broke up with his girlfriend on friday which happened to be his birthday on top of it, he is cutter and is a recovering drug addict I am now very worried about because i cannot reach him on his cell phone for it is off, he also happens to be the guy for whom Brenda is in love with and has been waiting 5 months to return from England, she said that the breakt up was a mutual thing, I know it wasn't,I spoke to her yesterday and she said that she does love him but she just cannot wait for him a second time cause he wants to join the army next year, which in my opinion is just an excuse for him to run away from his problems in life, I am afraid that he might just go and do sumthing to himself, I'm really worried about him should i be, really need help with one.

I think the important thing is just to be there and listen. That can make a big difference. If he's feeling suicidal or harming himself, please encourage him to seek professional help -- do what you can, but remember that his life isn't your responsibility and that you can't make him do (or not do) anything.

I don't want to scare you, but it sounds s if he may be back into drugs or something more. Methanphedmines are well known in my area, and disassocation and sudden intrest in other things/lack of important things are things to look out for. I would sugest when you can get in contact with your friend that you talk to them and let them know how you are feeling and that they can tell you if they need help. Be there is the best thing you can do, but be careful and be supportive. Do research and get facts...PM me if you have any questions or if this doesn't make sence.
