it can be so hard feeling like something is wrong but not be able to put your finger on it. people like this end up bouncing and in your word "Obsessing" about this symptom and disorder and just working their way hypercondriatic like through the diagnostic manuals. It kind of reminds me of the scene in the musical A Chorus Line where one charater is telling about reaching puberty and instead of talking to someone assumed through reading medical books that his natural body reactions was Gonnorea. You can read these until you are convinced you are on your deathbed but the only thing accomplished is making yourself miserable. There is a wayyou can find out what your problem is and that is by going to a psychiatrist or psychologist and asking for a test called Comprehensive Psychological Evaluation. Its an interview with a psychiatrist/psychologist then an IQ test and some computerized tests once all of these results are in the testing professional can tell you what your problem is and how to help you. Good luck. and take care.

Hi Cherry,
You sound like you may be a very intense person. Are you artistic?
If you don't think you are-maybe you should try doing something creative. Along with what Myself has advised, it may create an outlet.
I don't know if it helps but it's the first thing that popped into my mind when I read your post.

On the obsessing thing, I know what you are talking about. I have had this problem too. In me, I have obsessive-compulsive disorder. Some people have the purely obsessing kind and they don't have any rituals. I've had both.

I know what you mean. I developed a fear of going crazy. Now, I just worry about some of the things in my classes. Go see someone and find out what it is and get it treated. Since I do some depression like things and anxiety like things, I was real puzzled by it. Well, I going to try to get some sleep--if I don't worry about things in the middle of the night.

I've been this way in the past. Actually when I get very upset about something I obsess about it constantly. Just read my journal and you'd see how obsessive I am! It could be caused by depression, ocd, anything.

Do you have a therapist or psych doctor? Maybe you could try to figure it out with them about what's going on with you.
