I've been getting random pains right in my heart,or at least that's what it feels like. It's like a sharp, crushing pains and then it goes away after a bit. I know it's most likely some form of anxiety but it still scares me.
It keeps coming back and some time I just get this sorta lingering pain in my heart, not as harsh as the first one but it really bothers me.
Anyone have a tips or pointers about this sorta thing?

Thank you for your time

Any pain in the chest should be taken seriously. Get an MD's opinion...I'd hate to tell you one thing and it actually be something else.
Thanks for this!

For sure, go to the doctors and get it all checked out. I have gone through the same thing. I thought I was having a heart attache. I did a stress test, a monitor, and a thorough exam. I was sent to a cardiologist also. Everything checked out fine, but I do still have chest pain. Sometimes it is sharp, runs down my arm, around the back and under my shoulder blade. I was told it's from stress and my ribs being out. It's very scary at times. I also have intermittent heat rate that's off.
Be well

Is it the kind that just randomly hit you and take your breath away and you feel like you cant breathe normal because it hurts too bad. Its wave after wave of pain and you have to breathe in little short breaths until its gone then for like 5-10 mins after the shocking pain is gone you are fine but still feel a small ache where it hurt before?

If so, I totally get it too. Its unexplainable, scary and very painful for me.

It is impossible to say what is causing it without an exam. It could be anything from pericarditis to gallbladder to pleurisy to ..... It could even be a side effect of medication; trazodone caused me to have chest pains.

Do you have a family doctor?
