I haven't taken my meds for the last three days for various reasons, but not completely on purpose.

I'm definitely noticing a difference.

I didn't think they were really doing much, but now I'm back home and I can't go downstairs at night, because I end up running back upstairs with my heart racing as if something was going to kill me. It's also hot upstairs, but I can't stick my feet out of the covers because once again I think something is going to get me or something. I can't even turn off the TV because the silence mixed with the darkness is just too much for my imagination to work with. I hate when junk is like this.

I can't wait to go back on my medicine starting tomorrow... given that I don't forget.

I know this is more of a vent, but any support or feedback is appreciated.

((BatsAndButterflies)) - sorry you're having a hard time. Regarding remembering your meds - many people find it helpful to keep their meds in on of those pill containers that have the day of the week on them. Keep it next to what you do everyday - like near your tooth brush for example. I have to take a thyroid med everyday and its important I don't miss....so I keep the pills on my bathroom counter with a bottle of water next to it. Are you in therapy for the anxiety and phobia's?

I usually read the 'about me' before I answer a post. Are on meds for the ADHD as well. My daughter(almost 14) also loves music - she plays the piano and can sing beautifully. Her best song is 'Jar Of Hearts' by Christina Perry and she can sing Adele. She was in the talent show at her school and now the music teacher asked her to sing at 2 other schools and today she's singing for the junior elementary grades. I hope it gets better for you.

Wow bats,
You nailed some of my crazy anxiety! I used to think our grandfather clock had something to do with allegators -just the ch-ch-ch (the second hand) reminded me of them. Thank goodness it's broken. And the foot out of the blanket!!! YES! I cannot sleep without a blanket covering me, even if it was 100 degrees. I have that same "something will get me"

Anyways, I'm sorry you are feeling this way now. I hope things are on the up and up once you get back in the routine. Can you set an alarm to remind you to take them?

Thesebare both amazing ideas! I just got a pill container and I think I'll set an alarm too to help me out a bit. I take a med for ADHD as well. I try to take hem at the same time so I only have to remember once.

That is amazing hat got daughter has been so successful with music. I love to make videos for YouTube and stuff.

I'm sory you have similar anxieties. It's nice that someone can relate though. It's like silly childish fears turns into a feeling or terror and my mind is convinced that I am going to die.
