Do you have any moments you can share, in which you had a victory against anxiety? Here's my recent one:

Got a nasty scalp, .. spots and lumps, ..'urts a lot and isn't very comfortable, to say the least. Anywho, I've been "health anxiety" about it for ages, really freaking out, thinking I'm going to die, feeling dread, thinking I've got this, that, and everything else, etc ... so, after much deliberation, about a week ago, I went completely skin-head (bald), and I'm so glad I did, I just wish I did it sooner.

I've been able to see and feel all the spots and lumps I otherwise couldn't. Now I know that THEY WERE JUST SPOTS AND LUMPS, and what's more, they were only there because of my head creating too much oil or whatever it is. I've been washing it like crazy, treating it, and it is gradually improving. I'm loving being bald; it makes life so much easier, and I like the feel/look of it on me.

TAKE THAT, ANXIETY; IN YOUR FACE!

Yea, way to go, Zwang! I can't recall an exact moment, but I think I am making progress in not worrying about things I have no control over.
