I live here in Kentucky and Joe Cantore from TWC is here because we are under the gun for a tornado outbreak like the one in '74. I am anxious for my family and friends and myself. I am so scared for tomarrow. I dont know what scares me more, the tornadoes or my storm shelter. Last year we had a tornado and had to go down im that dark little room and I got so clausterphobic I tried to run out into the storm just to get out of that pitch black damp little room. Im scared. :-[ please send prayers or positive thoughts toeverybodu under the gun. There are so many people that are scared here in my town. Im trying to talk to them and make them feel better but they are almost in a panic.

thunderbear, we can say our prayers together cause I'm in southeast also.

no tv weather people here, very small town, but have been told to prepare.

also have storm shelter, thank goodness.

will say a prayer that this weather system isn't gonna cause as much trouble as they think. And for you my dear that if necessary you can tolerate the stress of your storm shelter & the weather.

take care & be safe

Tornados are so scary. I have been through 2 little ones. They only tossed stuff around, but it was scary enough for me.

You could take a flashlight and any other things that might bring you comfort to your basement now. Being prepared makes a big difference.

My youngest (he is 19) is learning disabled and is at school in Mammoth Cave. We will have a text fest today I am sure because of the storms.

We got thru it. A tree almost fell on us on our way out to the storm shelter but thankfully it was caught by another tree. It was really scary. Other than trees layin in our yard, family and home are safe. Im glad you and your family are ok. Huggs <3
