Why is it that I can be so positive the one minute and then the next my mind go's haywire?

Some days are good, some are bad. It's the same for everyone, but those with some kind of illness or issues will see a lot bigger swings.
When I feel bad, I don't beat myself up because of it, because I don't need both feeling bad and feeling guilty. |

jimrat, you said it!! it is so counter-productive to feel guilty when we are struggling to get it right!!! gma, on the subject of self-sabotage, I am finding that I am doing that sub-consciously because I am so sure that no one will like me, that I am (without knowing it) sending off non-verbal signals that reinforce that. so believe in yourself and keep your head up, and I will too!!!

Yes, it is hard to judge what is important or how it might influence the whole when we're in the middle of it; like saying a rainy day is a "bad" thing when, overall, we need the rain. I try to stay friendly with myself, help myself when I'm feeling bad (with humor) and being good to myself when I'm stressed (dropping some "must do" actions that can be done some other time without harm) and curling up with a book or something instead of knocking myself.

I often feel like this too, I often think it's my mood.
