There is a new app from the University of West England. You're able to track your anxiety daily, find help for your anxiety with guided breathing etc, read articles, and make a lists of your anxieties to work from.

Here is a better explanation;
"This is a new app called ‘Self-help Anxiety Management' by The University Of West England

SAM has been developed by a university team of Psychologists, computer scientists and student users. It engages established methods of self-help and high standards of usability to provide a engaging, flexible & practical resource.

This app is currently only available for devices using Android." (it is now also available on apple devices)

I just searched "Self-help Anxiety Management" and it was the first one that came up. It's easy to use, bright but not overwhelming, and so far it has given me a sense of better control now that I can see how my anxiety fluctuates.

Thought some of you may find this helpful! Take care.

Thanks for sharing this. I just checked the App Store for my iPad and unfortunately it wasn't available. :-( Perhaps it will be some day. Sounds like it would be helpful.

No problem! Shandar, I am pretty sure they are working to get it on most mobile Apple devices. So soon!

My review on it so far; it's really great. They have "games" that take your mind off of what ever it is you're anxious about; like this picture game where you have to "wipe" away the fog to reach the photo (that is usually beautiful).

It has alarms on your anxieties list that you can set to go off so you can prepare before the event happens. I have found this SO helpful.

The anxiety tracker is going to be so helpful when it comes to therapy sessions. The tracker asks about your tension, worrying thoughts, physical discomfort, etc, then creates a chart that you can view by hour/day/week/month.

This app has been really useful.
