everyday i feel like i'm going to throw up. I don't like feeling like this. Im nervous all the time. And i don't know why. What does everyone do to not feel like this?

I am very familiar with these feelings I am often nervous and sick to my stomach. I especially feel like I am going to throw when I am holding back communicating and not talking about things that are really bothering me.

They can be symptoms of anxiety.

Remedies: I had a physical to rule out any other medical conditions. I see my Pdoc every 3 months. Go to my T once (or twice) a week whether I want to or not. Write in my journal. Come on PC and connect with others. I've also eliminated those people from my life that are not positive or helpful to my getting better ("toxic" people; abusive people; co-dependent people; judgmental people; controlling people). They only hinder my progress.

I also make a huge effort to NOT be hard on myself and to give myself a break when I make mistakes or things don't work out quite as I planned. I see myself as a work in progress

In the beginning, I felt like a complete dodo. But I've begun to ease up on myself. Kind of. I mean, we are definitely our BIGGEST critics. it's so easy to brush off the positive and only see the mistakes / blunders. I am working on focusing on the good stuff (my T and I talk about it in terms of re-wiring or re-routing my thinking).

It's one little teeny inch at a time. Sometimes two steps forward, one step back. What's really comforting is that I have a whole support group around me now that care and can relate and who understand

Rose gave you some wonderful advice!

1.) Make sure that you rule out possible physical causes by seeing a doctor with complete descriptions of your experience.
2.) Work with a T. They can really help you develop better techniques to work through stress, so more stress doesn't automatically equal panic.
3.) Reach out for emotional support from those who've been there ~ they're a light at the end of the tunnel. You aren't doomed to a life of misery, as you can see that others who had it bad, have been able to overcome their anxiety.
4.) Another great tip, by Rose! Remove yourself from toxic relationships now. The longer you wait, the stress and misery goes on longer and more deeply.
5. ) Try hard to give yourself a break. We are WAY too hard on ourselves ~ and our bad attitude does nothing but kick us down further. I used to tell myself verbally to "stop it" when my negativity kicked into gear. It does get quicker and easier the more often that you say that to yourself.

Gentle hugs to you ~ things will get better. Maybe not overnight, no. But as time passes, things will improve a lot. You'll see.
