I had a really bad panic attack at the antique store. I was having trouble breathing and felt like I was going to pass out. I'm trying to figure out what triggered the attack. It could have been the musty odor. The air conditioning was not working very well. IDK maybe the closed in spaces.

Take aspect of this scenario and compare them with the conditions of other panic attacks.
Are there any similarities?

((((Pir))))I am sorry you experienced that. I - unlike many others - cannot bear going into antique stores. Used book stores, gently worn clothing boutiques, garage sales and estate sales also aren't my cup o' tea.
I know exactly why I feel this way, too, but I am a little reluctant to share because I realize it may sound completely ridiculous! And a bit nutty. I also dont want to discount something that many people enjoy / love doing. I know it is quite a beloved, popular hobby / activity. I do not have a problem with family heirlooms or family traditions but that is probably because it is my (weird as we are) family ![]() I am so sorry you had a panic. I struggle with that. No fun ![]() I hope you will be able to work on this with your T and others here so you can get to the bottom of it and feel better. Big hugs to you Rose |
