I am not sure if I am posting this in the right place, but I just came across this site a few minutes ago.
I am horrible at opening up to people, I just feel weird about it... but at the moment, my anxiety is through the roof. I struggle with self injury, though it has been a while since I have.
Just some support and someone to talk to who understands at the moment would be so awesome.

Hi, Katexo! Welcome to Psych Central. I can relate to the anxiety but not the self-injury. They have a forum for that :http://forums.psychcentral.com/forumdisplay.php?f=17

I suffer from Generalized Anxiety Disorder, OCD and Social Anxiety. You are not alone here. I struggle with constant worry. I also have a hard time opening up to people. Therapy is helping with that. Have you sought out therapy? You will find this forum helpful. Everyone here is very nice and has personal experience. Hope you find the relief you need soon.

I understand self injury and anxiety. Did you want to talk about it? This is a safe place to do so.

I suffer from OCD, Panic disorder, and Conversion disorder and struggled a lot with self injury in the past. My symptoms are under control mostly through meds and therapy. Do you have a therapist? Are you on meds? I'm open to talking if you want.

You are not alone, I think there are quite a few people that can relate to you here. If you ever need to vent or anything I'm sure there are lots of people here that are willing to listen and try to help but finding a good therapist is key to getting both your anxiety and SI under control.

I completely relate to anxiety and self-injury as well. I had bruises on my legs last week from what I'd done to myself. You're definitely not alone, Katexo. We're all here to support you.
