Since I was a little girl I used to get thoughts of what would happen to me after I die and I would think "what if nothing happens and I just cease to exist" I would get panicky but I would usually forget about it and move on, but about a week ago I had this thought again and this time I can't stop thinking about it, it's all I think about 24/7 and it just gives me this feeling of nervousness, anxiety and impending doom. I can't get over it, it has gotten so bad that I have complete loss of appetite. I have recently started hypnotherapy in hopes it will help me get over this feeling and move on with life, please help me and let me know what I can do to get over this feeling!

You say in your othr thread that you scored high in OCD. It sound like you might be having intrusive thoughts. I would seek assistant if I were u, because OCD and anxiety are treatable.

Maybe your hypnotherapist can help you with lucid dreaming, remote viewing, and then astral projection. Lucid dreaming is the ability to recognize that you are dreaming while you are dreaming. It usually results in the dream becoming more vivid. Remote viewing is the ability to gain information about places you haven't been to and test the information you gain. It is verifiable. It also transitions into the ability to go out of body, astral projection. This last skill shows you that you do go on apart from the body by giving you a chance to go out (briefly) and look around. All of this normally leads to losing fear of death. This way you can be sure that you can stop having to work through it at random times in your life.

Just to add to what the others have said - maybe also check in with yourself and see what death means to you? Just... what it means as a concept. An ending? Helplessness? Separation? Maybe the intrusive thoughts come from a fear of these things, or others.

Hypnotherapy does help in that it gives you a sense of continuity and also a sense of where your fears are coming from. Keep us updated!
