so lately I have been having a lot of anxiety about a particular bar in the downtown area.
I had been avoiding go anywhere remotely close to the place foe a long time now. And today to get to a place I was going I HAD to walk past it. it was a lot to deal with, without truly realizing it i had been avoiding this place for now weeks due to confusing emtions that I did not want to face for fear of emtionally crumbling in the situation. Well not only did I walk past it...but with my girlfriend and boyfriend today we all made our way to the bar and hung out here for quite a few hours. It was a large step, of course it helped that the owner of the place was not in this evening for whatever reason. You see I dated him for a few months and it ended in a odd confusing way, and I still to this day have very deep feelings for him. So it was primarily fear of seeing him and having to deal with confronting my fear and emtions with him. Granted since he was not there today I am very sure this truly means I will have to deal with my anxieties again. But I am glad and proud that I faced them head on and am dealing with them.
