Right. So I usually hang out in the bpd forum, but I think I might have social anxiety. Here are my reasons:

1: I hate making, or taking, phone calls. I dialed the wrong number once, and was so embarrassed that I hung up without a word.
2: I can't initiate conversation very easily. Most of the time, other people have to start.
3: I feel very awkward around people, even my family, and don't like to ask for things for fear of rejection.
4: I tend to hang back in social situations.
5: Whenever I post something, I worry about negative replies/reviews.
6: I react poorly to criticism, and don't like to give my opinion in case people don't like it.

I'm not looking for a diagnosis, but what do you guys think?

I think you are right about social anxiety. What you just wrote describes me to a T and I am pretty sure I have social anxiety and have had it most my life. I have found hanging out in this forum has helped me. I don't feel quite so alone. Hope the same for you!
