I had a huge relaspe in an anxiety attack yesterday. I was working and it took over me. It wasnt a full blown attack but it did make me feel really strange and out of my body like. I don't know how else to describe it.
I wondered what brought it on. Then I figured it was the stress from losing clients over the last 2 weeks. I go home to take some Midol 'cause I got cramps on top of everything and curiousity makes me look at the ingredients and there's 60mg. of caffeine in one pill. I had taken 2 pills and washed it down with a cup of tea that morning. On top of it I had only 4 hours of sleep. So, between the caffeine and the lack of sleep-I got spazzed. I wonder if there are others in this anxiety venue who are having anxiety related symptoms due to reacting to chemicals instead of it being a psychological thing. Make sure to check your over the counter medicine to see how much caffeine you're taking. I'm telling you, the attack I had was terrible. If I didn't find out about the caffeine then I would have wanted to go on zanacs or something to calm me down if it kept happening to me day after day. As a matter of fact, sleeping pills can have the same effect on you too. Watch what you're taking over the counter and see how you feel a few hours/the next morning after you've taken it. I hope this helps someone. |

I wonder if this has anything to do with my wanting to SI again yesterday. Hmmm. Yesterday was a really strange day.
