Hello sad sam,

Welcome to Psych Central!

No, it doesn't sound really stupid.

It sounds like you are understandably worried about your Nan.

Try to set some time aside where you do something nice just for you.

Make sure you get plenty of rest and practice relaxation.

It might be worth a trip to the doctors, so that he can reassure you.

You are important. Take care of you. are they???

Anxiety can take on many forms..... so please see that you allow a lot of time for some TLC for your self or you will be of no good to any one.
I personally am on a mood swing / depression / anxiety medicine and I also take a natural herb called "Valerian Root" to help out with the extra stress that my Rx does not catch..... check with your doctor or pharmacy to make sure it will be alright to take with your own medicine.
