Social phobia not improving. What can I do? Sometimes I feel deep trauma when being I cross paths with people I don't know very well. It seems I can only use ativan to cope. I feel they are judging me. When I ride the elevator I get spooked and some little kid said he hated me on there for no reason. I was just standing there.

That wasn't very nice of that kid! I would try not to take it personally. Sounds like that kid needs some help.....

Are you seeing a therapist for treatment? I think your paranoia might be a bit beyond just basic social phobia, although I'm not an expert.

Hey, you folks with social phobia, what do you suggest?
Thanks for this!

mmmm I think social phobia could cause a person to feel like others are judging... isn't that more or less the basis for social phobia?
Isn't it odd how things happen as they did with the kid in the elevator at just the worst possible times?
I don't think I can help much with the basic question other than to suggest finding ways of improving self-esteem and self-worth.
You are as good as anyone and have just as much right to be out and about as anyone else. It's your world too
Thanks for this!
