just wondering would i know if something would make you panic before youve done it. im working on eye contact in t. and next week she wants me to look at her with her eyes closed. she said i can stand by the open door when i do it. in case i run. right now i dont think id run. just wondering why shes thinks i might. and is preparing for it. is this something i will find out in the moment.

Does it make you anxious to think about it? Usually that is how I judge. Maybe your T has had other patients who needed to flee the situation and that is why she is prepared.
If you don't think you will be uncomfortable enough to run out then you probably won't.

Though now I'm a little worried that my T will make me work on eye contact. She's mentioned it in passing once.

I agree with what lost said. It's probably more like she's giving you the space you need in case you do have a reaction. If you're not worried about it then I wouldn't let her allowance worry you. I think she's just trying to make it as comfortable for you as possible to take steps towards challenging your anxiety.
