Hello everyone, I just need some good advice. I'm going to be a senior in high school in two months. For the past three years, I've been suffering from depression.. and it's been a pain. My grades have dropped.. it's really bad. Like, it's a 1.91 right now. I still haven't taken the ACT. I don't know what to do. Oh, I also need some suggestions for future careers.. I'm desperate. My only good trait is being artistic, but everyone I know told me that I shouldn't focus on that road because it doesn't pay well. What should I do? I was thinking about becoming a psychologist, but my English isn't that good. What should I do? I feel miserable just thinking about the future.

Subjects I'm good at: Art, World History (world wars, cold war, early european civilizations), and Literature (I love to read)
Subjects I'm okay at: Human Anatomy and Biology
Subjects I'm awful at: Math, Chemistry, and Physics.

Things I enjoy: Reading, watching movies, and drawing.
Things I dislike: Writing essays, analyzing stuff, and solving math problems.

Not sure if there is a field for this but combining the your 2 best interests might expand your possibilities.. Art/ History. I assume that you are close to the University of Alabama, so visit the college and see if you can talk to someone there or at least call and speak to someone. They might offer placement tests to see where you are most qualified. Maybe your high school does. My last suggestion would be to consider a teaching position. If you are interested in Psychology you might be interested in helping other people so combine your 3 best interests. English was horrible for me only because I was afraid people would make fun of me because I didn't know how to express myself properly. It does get better. Hope this helps, maybe food for thought. Best of Luck..

I joined the military right out of high school and it was the best decision I ever made. Just a suggestion. But it's not for everyone.
