My first panic attack was at Ultra Music Festival. I was on molly at the time so I just thought I was having a bad "roll". It lasted for about an hour and I still felt "funny" afterwards. I've taken molly about six or so times and been completely fine. I also smoke weed a lot. I currently haven't taken molly for a few months and I haven't smoked for a few weeks either. Randomly the other night I was at dinner with my parents and had a panic attack where I thought I was going to die and I couldn't breathe. After about 20 minutes of me being in fresh air and taken care of, I was okay but still felt funny. I don't know if this is related to the drug use or if i could have an anxiety disorder.

Drugs can be a trigger/contributor, especially for teens and young adults (neurologically still maturing) --- or panic attacks can come on "out of the blue". What you describe is pretty classic. I would recommend stopping all drugs (just eliminate the possibles and the complications)----start a routine, daily, exercise routine (anything from running to yoga, dancing....) practice relaxation techniques and try not to let yourself associate places with the attack (this can lead to agoraphobia as your brain tries to say "oh it happens when I...so I won't...".
Just know you won't die. It is an awful feeling I know all too well. I don't even know what molly is....I am getting old. Welcome!

What's Molly?

Definitely stop playing with the drugs. Even if it's not bad enough now for you to want to give up your recreational/social pleasures, the drugs will only contribute to the anxiety and you could develop a severe anxiety disorder. You don't want to risk a future struggling with that.

I don't know what molly is. Drugs can raise anxiety, especially stimulants, or exaccerbate an anxiety disorder. I would stop playing with drugs pronto.

"Molly," short for molecule, is the powder form of MDMA, and is being marketed as a pure form of Ecstasy. MDMA is the chemical used to create the Ecstasy. The drug — often laced with highly addictive drugs such as cocaine, meth, and bath salts — is starting to be recognized and filling hospital emergency rooms.

MDMA can trigger more than anxiety. Do some reading. Stop playing dangerous games with that beautiful brain-------I have seen the results and they are not pretty. And, many many years ago, I inadvertently (something laced) took MDMA, it was an awful experience, intriguing but awful. In other words, you have no idea what you are putting in your body.,
What makes you want to risk your physical and mental health? Seriously, this is as bright as sniffing glue. (and I've seen a few of those folks rolling around chronic psych wards unable to function....)
Thanks for this!
