Through the roof this morning, think I might be anxious about appnt with new pdoc & what she might put me on. Have had some bad side effects from last couple of ADs I've been on, nervous it might happen again.

that is understandable that you feel anx aboutthe prospect of more side effects. you are the client..you have the say in what you take and how muh you take. i would try to see the appointment as a comversation aimed at making you feel better. you alone decide if you accept your pdoc's suggested meds. maybe ask your pdoc to put you on a very small dosis at first in case you have side effects. hope it goes well

If your pdoc is anything like mine, they will already be thinking through all your previous side effects and will come up with something to help you.

I agree, it's also up to you, whether to accept their prescription. You ARE the client!!

And if it's not working, you can always call and go back in sooner, than later
Thanks for this!

Pdoc gave me clonazepam (sp?) for anxiety, said it doesn't give the abrupt ups & downs like Xanax - wish I'd known that months ago!
