I suffer with anxiety, panic attacks, depression, agoraphobia and ocd.

Does anyone else have anxiety over almost everything? I even panic I've tee being anxious and I feel like I'm losing control. I worry and obsess over almost everything and it's starting to drive me mad. How can I face this when I'm even scared of doing that?

How I feel just makes me more and more depressed which in turn makes me more anxious.

It's very hot weather wise too and it gets me extremely irritaited and angry but also increases my anxiety significantly. Does the heat make anyone else more anxious? Or is it just me

I have GAD and OCD. I do get anxiety over almost anything. It can be small to large to very random thoughts or memories. It can get very overwhelming at times. I have a lot of guilt anxiety associated with being so anxious when my life is good. I do demonize my anxiety to the point where when I am happy random thoughts can derail me because I try to block it out and it only makes it worse. Its like if you tell yourself to not think of a pink elephant, you are going to think of a pink elephant. So some steps I have taken toward helping this are apart of the mindfulness techniques in coping with anxiety. They suggest instead of trying to block it out or letting it drive yourself crazy to replace the anxious thoughts with something positive. This sounds hard at first because I realize how troubling the anxiety can be. It gets easier if you write down everything positive about your life at night on a notepad or in a journal. Keep it and look at or write new things every night. They get fresher in your mind and they become easier to replace some anxious thoughts with a positive one when they come up. If this does not work for you then try affirmations. Think of a word that is positive to you like "peace" or "relax" imagine this word in an image or see the word in your mind. Say it over and over again while imagining the image and spelling it out at the same time. Its a good way to really distract your mind and coupled with breathing techniques it can be temporarily helpful. As for the hot weather, I do find my anxiety is worse in the summer it could be related. I am a big fan of Fall and cannot wait until it cools off! I hope you find relief.

Bless u and thank you for your reply. I will definitely try your techniques they sound quite good. Hopefully they will work even just to provide a little relief. Finding it hard to deal with all of this, everything seems to get worse and comes tumbling down all at once and I need to find ways to cope with each situation or make it a little easier to cope with.
