Seriously, I don't know what to do. I keep blushing whenever somebody talks to me and its getting out of hand. Thinking about the blushing and how I know people can tell has been keeping me up at night. I haven't had a good nights rest in a while. It's like all the embarrassing things I did that day just come into my thoughts late at night and I just want to disappear. It has never been this bad and I just don't know what to do and say to myself to calm down/get to sleep.

Blushing is rare and adorable. Do not worry about it. If you cannot sleep, see a doctor to get sleep medicine. Getting enough sleep fixes a lot of anxiety issues without further intervention.
Thanks for this!

I see NOTHING wrong with blushing. Absolutely nothing. I too blush quite readily, and people find it great that in this day and age, there is still someone that can be embarrassed and shocked at some things.

So many people aren't shocked at anything anymore -- they think that even the most embarrassing things are just day to day stuff. Well, I don't! I think they're shocking, and they embarrass the daylights out of me. Call me naive, or whatever -- I've never been exposed to many things, and even at MY age, I can still blush. LOL

So alot of people think it's great! Hugs, Lee

I also do this and I hate it. I can be talking to people and it will come out of nowhere. I asked my Pdoc to prescribe attenlol, which actually lowers blood pressure, but it helps reduce blushing. I am not going to take it every day, just the days that seem worse than others, because I seem to avoid people more on those days.

I blush easily too. I would blush when embaressed then get even more embarressed because of the blush, no win situation. Since there really isn't much that can be done I've learned if I ignore it. If it happens I just pretend its not and hope no one comments on it.

I never thought of looking at the way Lee does, I'll have to think about that

There's some really good information about blushing here: https://socialanxietyinstitute.org/b...social-anxiety

In fact, the entire Social Anxiety Institute website has a vast amount of helpful information that is great, and their audio series is second to none!
