Classes at my university just resumed three days ago (we are on a quarter system) and already I am freaking out over how much I have to get done. I keep checking my final exam schedule over and over even though they're months away and I even had to pull it out at work. I can't stop checking syllabus details, the number of assignments, etc. I'm worried that the problem set I submitted online didn't get through, but I checked that, too. Aghhhhh. I am finally in bed, trying to settle down for the night, and it literally feels like all my organs are vibrating cuz I'm shaking so bad. My hands have been crazy shaky all day.
Sorry, just venting because I don't really have anyone that knows or understands about any of this... |

Did you check at the university health clinic or local health provider for university students? The symptoms needs to be assessed as to whether they are medically related or not and then go for referral to appropriate health provider.

I'm no doctor, but it sounds like anxiety and OCD to me. I would definitely check with a doctor ASAP. You don't need to live that way. There are medications and counseling that can help. Be well!

Thanks for the responses. I tried to call the counseling center today, but hung up as soon as I heard a voice on the other end...i was like a deer in the headlights or something. Not sure how to make myself just bite the bullet and stay on the line.
