I've tried I really have. At work I have a reputation, an undeserved reputation and I'm treated like I am this person they all believe I am, and I could complain till I was blue in the face, and have, I'm not trusted by anyone I work with, they follow me everywhere and if I do or say the slightest thing that is in line with their view of "what's really going on" I'm sent someplace where I basically stare at a wall. I've caught two of them lying about me supposedly not doing work. I can't disprove a negative. I can't supposedly change, and no one has the guts to tell me what I'm supposed to have done. Nothing deserves this treatment. I've tried to tell my bosses, they think I'm over reacting. So I guess my choices are quit or continue and put up with the abuse eternally. Unless someone else has a useful suggestion on how I could prove that something is not going on especially when I don't know what it is?

Wow, that is a tough spot you are in. Have you tried talking to Human Resources? That would be the only thing can think of.

My mom went through this for years at her job. She was able to retire early so she did. Once she got away from there it really changed her life for the better. No job is worth your happiness. Have you looked to see what else is out there? I know it's tough right now in the job market...I can imagine how stuck you must feel.
Have you tried talking directly to the people that are giving you problems? What if you had a meeting with them and the boss, all of you together? I don't know if that would work either, people are just nuts! |

Hmm, sounds like they're the one with problems. The best you can do is do your job the best to your ability while looking for another job on the side. And if you have an HR director, definitely tell him/her about the situation. Your coworkers deserve reprimand. Try not to let them get the better of you in the meantime!

You are not the bad guy, i don't even know why people treat each other bad in the workplace, i guess they're venting on you, maybe because they see each other do so. You should confront them the next time they try to abuse you, and let them know you will not stand for it anymore and even ask them why they are doing this to you. Sometimes, it sounds stupid, but people think you like this kind of behavaior, because you'e not saying anything, and they follow each other in their responses to you. Good luck and i hope this helps!!!!
