Hi Everyone Roller Coaster Anxiety...

I have been suffering horribly from waves of anxiety that make it feel like the world is caving in on me and that I am all alone.

How do I stop the trembling inside?

The best advice I have is distraction. I've been having that problem too and a movie helped a bit last night... used it to distract my mind enough to get to sleep during it.

Wish I could be of more help

Are you all tense? Try deep breathing. Then watch your shoulders automatically relax. May take a few tries, but it seems to slow down my heart rate a bit. Maybe not my mind...

Do you take meds for your anxiety? Warm milk and honey works! Seriously!

I'm always anxiety ridden. These tricks might not last long, but at least it gives a few seconds/minutes of relief.

Sometimes, though, I'll try so hard to concentrate, that it will makes it worse.

These are little reliefs, so don't expect miracles. But keep deep breathing when you can remember. That actually stays with you the more you practice.

I wish I had an answer for you. I am searching for answers myself.

My cave helps me. And sunlight (sometimes) And honey as AS mentioned. Chocolate too. Mostly breathing and distraction. Warm baths. But lately, .......

Exercise! You wouldn’t believe what a good hard workout or run can do for Anxiety, especially on the verge of an attack. You can wear yourself out so well and feel good about doing it that it will temporarily knock the Anxiety on its you know what.
