I feel like my anxiety has gotten worse. My dr put me off work because of stress and anxiety since oct 15 and since then it's steadily gotten worse from where it was mostly at work that I'd have anxiety, or going out because I have social anxiety but I feel like I'm in a constant state of anxiety, even at home. I am constantly feeling nauseous and panicky, and sometimes like I might be sick. I'm on 40 mg of citolopram and have an appt with my dr dec 2...I'm gonna mention it to him but does it sound like I might need a different med? I've been on this one for about a year I think or almost a year and its been going alright until now.

Sounds like a good question for you doctor. I know I've had meds that quit working on me. You might want to give him a call and let him know how poorly you are doing.

Sorry you are having so much emotional pain. Anything going on in your life right now that could be a trigger(s)??

Only the stress of being off work and not having money coming in, especially so close to Christmas. I'm gaining weight from binge eating so now when I go out in public I am even more anxious and panicky because my clothes are tighter. My depression is getting so bad I have almost zero energy so all I wanna do is lay on the couch. I don't know how I'm gonna be able to go back to work when I'm so tired 24/7 and I'm nauseous from anxiety all the time.

I agree with Gayle - maybe you need to call the doctor or move the apt up if possible. I hope you find some answers soon.
