Emetophobia ... the name of the fear of vomiting. I've seen other people post about this so it is not uncommon. I have a little of it myself. Vomiting is, well, scary if you are the one who is sick, and disgusting if you are witness to it.

Hugs - you are not alone.

I am like Charlie Brown I have a fear of EVERYTHING. I forget what Lucy said that was.

People, being alone, dogs, heights, elevators, bathrooms with no windows, darkness, parking lots, closed in spaces, wide open spaces, being lost, people throwing up or spreading germs, doctors, dentists, needles, man I gotta stop thinking.

Yep I am afraid of EVERYTHING.

I am sorry you all suffer with this. It is challenging for us all. I don't recommend "flooding" method, but I had to do a lot wound cleaning, and over my share of incontinence care with patients, and illnesses in human and animals in my life. I don't recall any of it pleasant at all. I do recall how grateful and appreciative the recipients were for a caring hand, some care and kindness. I truly understand because I've been there too.
