so i had a panic attack about 30 mins ago , been a while since i had one, atleast so strong.. i think its a panic attack

it came on so fast, i started having numbness all over, couldnt feel my arms, my entire body... everything started going white, like static, if i tried really hard i could see just a little outline through the mesh like whiteness'
i was getting cold, couldn't find my pulse and freaked everyone out too..
is it normal to lose your vision in a panic attack?

edit:
oh and i forgot to mention my nose feels cold/raw and burns for some reason.. how could i have a severe attack on bupropion and buspar with the zyprexa zydis 15mg?

i feel a better now somewhat, just tired.. i think one time i went to the hospital for the same feelings (just not as intense) they said i had low potassium level or something..?
i barely eat so maybe its my diet..? i have severe anxiety too so i dunno, maybe i just kept letting it build up till something that happens everyday burst the bubble.. i feel depressed and ashamed experiencing these things, scarying people around me - even myself, feeling like my body is dieing and i cant stop it, i try to get them to feel my pulse but they said it was very light/faint

I have experienced something similar if I am understanding it correctly. Do you feel like you are having tunnel vision and it just slowly starts to get dark where you can't see and almost pass out? Were you doing anything in particular that could have caused the symptoms to occur such as locking your knees? It also sounds like you could have low Blood Pressure. You should try to eat enough calories in order to keep your body functioning. It can help you to be less likely to experience the fainting symptoms again and can make a difference in Panic Disorder symptoms overall.

well im not sure how accurate i can describe it, but i guess it could been like tunnel vision... increasingly getting further away as more "Static" comes in, until everything is blurred out by this white blinding light and im unable to see anything, become weak with cold sweats and unable to speak or move my body, i used to have a big problem with hyperventilation but i thought i had gotten thta under controll... my case manager said that i experienced a trigger, and to try not to worry and keep taking the medicines, it does feel like low blood preasure as well because of the vision thing and inability to speak / move my body, one time in the ER they gave me 2 big potassium pills and told me that i was hypoglycemic? they told me to eat things with lots of potasium in it back then, so now im just more worried ... is it a physical ailment or MH
i know that i used all my strength to ask my family to check my pulse and they couldnt find it, almost as if it wasnt beating hehe... does normal panic do this..? i was near ready to fall over passed out or dead one

i am trying to eat better.. its just hard for me because i dont feel like eating, but i try.. i wish it was easier

thanks for the replies
i hate being scared all of the time

why is it that people say "you just need to get out and do something" when i try to explain whats happening? and then they start blaming things, like how i never go out, the computer, etc etc
whats the deal with that? cant they see i freak out even in my comfort zones..?

I should add also that i had smoked a little canibis and have read that some people call an experience similar to this "White out"? that describes it perfectly really, instead of blacking out i whited out still semi conscious, its only happened to me a few times... maybe 3 times over the past decade of smoking, so i guess maybe after not smoking for a few days/weeks and taking a good hit lowered my defense and let the "build up" spew out which exerted it self in a massive panic attack?
looks like i might have to take a break from the stuff even thogh i really dont want to.. atleast until i figure out whats going on with me and how i can treat it..

anyone else have these 'white out' experiences?

I've heard of people loosing vision because of a migraine. Sudden attacks of vision loss and numbness can be an ocular or hemiplegic migraines.

I hope you figure your question out.

i dont recall any pain, i was calm... my brother (who carried me downstairs and outside for fresh air) even said i was calm, i just couldnt think.. couldnt see, couldnt feel my body, and in my mind i was just thinking oh no... this is really the time im going to die, not panicking but more or less feeling like its been something waiting to happen anyway, is it possible to have migraine without pain..? i have a high tolerance to pain.. maybe i just didnt realize it because i was so focused on my heart rate (which to me felt like flatline)

i think i wanna get some of the tools i can use at home to monitor my vitals... oxygen levels (to make suer im not hyperventilting) blood preasure gauge, thermometer, etc etc... do any of you know if the clinic i go to is able to help me attain such equipment?

i am going to mention tis next time im in the office too, they should know about it atleast and maybe can help me figure it out

i appreciate the reply badwolf, im taking a look at migraines and ocular or hemiplegic disorders now, i wish i could pop open a maintnence piece on my body and fixall my problems with a little re-wiring :/
