I am sick of having this! Brain locks on excessive worry, chest pains from anxiety and then the lovely panic attacks... I have always wanted to become a police officer.. Lately since i have a good full time job I pursued a reserve officer position only to find out later they disqualify anyone with this disorder.

Guarantee my struggles and overcoming in life, I could handle an extreme fight or flight better than someone who has never been that scared before. frustrated.

GAD really does suck...have you considered hypnosis? I tried it once and it got rid of my anxiety for two months. it was awesome. ive just started up with a new therapist to do it again. take care.
