Hello! So, I have suffered from anxiety for a long time, but it's never been very, very bad for me. At times, it used to be horrible, but now as I've gotten older, it's gotten a lot better.

I have recently been having some health issues, and after doing only three tests , my doctor has decided it's panic related.

Now, my problem with this is that I've grown up with anxiety my entire life, and I've suffered from panic attacks. I am well versed in what it feels like, as anyone else who lives with this problem is as well. She wanted me to talk to my psychiatrist and be psych evaluated.

The thing is... I don't feel anxious, like I do when my anxiety is kicking in.

So, my question to you all, is do you ever get anxiety and panic, without feeling like you are? Because to my knowledge, and my personal experience (as well as my sisters, who both suffer from anxiety, and a few friends as well) all say we feel anxious and have never suffered it without the feeling.

I'm just hoping to get some opinions on the matter, to see if it's just me thinking like this, or if I'm actually right to be concerned.

I actually have. One of my main anxiety symptoms is nausea/vomiting, and I've had those for no physical reason when I've either seemed relaxed or even excited. Although this is normally in situations where I might have expected to be anxious, but had managed not to be. I'd always thought of it as my subconscious being very anxious even though I'm consciously fine, although I don't know if that stands up under scrutiny by a professional just yet.

Huh, interesting. I would believe that for me too, had there been anything in my life that would cause me stress. I was honestly doing nothing for a month. Ha, ha! Feeling awesome and just chilling around, hanging with friends, etc.

Thank you for your input though!
