i have an appt with my psych doc tomorrow. how do i ask for different things. i am really struggling.

Sad to hear you are feeling unwell at this time, I don't have any advice for you, except maybe to be kind to yourself. If it's ok to ask: "what different things" are you wanting from your psych doc. Maybe try writing them down, and give it to them or read it to them...

thanks. my meds just aren't covering the depression and anxiety. i think i might need an adjunct to help. just don't know how to talk to her about it tomorrow at my appointment.

Just lay things out as they truly are ... you are taking current meds as prescribed and you are still experiencing _____ (fill in the blank). Your hope is to get to _______ (fill in the blank). I should add here that how you are functioning is as important as how you are feeling.

It is the doc's job to listen, hear you, and propose a plan. It is your job to see if the plan feels right for you and express that.

she added latuda and some xanax. i sure hope it helps.
