For a while I've experienced a lot of things that may be associated with an anxiety disorder of some sort, and I was wondering if it could be a real possibility that I have some type of anxiety
Ok
Sometimes i have these moments where, it's hard to explain, but it's like I'm not real and neither is anything else, like I'm detached from myself...my heart will start pounding and ill feel lightheaded/dizzy,and ill start sweating like there's no tomorrow... these types of things happen when I'm alone, or in the dark so now I'm afraid of being alone ... they can also happen when I'm in a social situation like having to talk to someone I don't know, being watched while eating or working, when people give me eye contact...I worry about everything and I have a lot to deal with...my life is very stressful
well I'm not sure if this could mean anything

Hi Italianfire, whatever it is it definitely means something!!! And to me it's sounding like it's meaning that you're having a really hard time with the things going on for you and could use little help, right??
Maybe it's anxiety, but whatever it's going to take to make you feel better. Have you tried any of the things that can help with anxiety when these feelings/symptoms are going on for you, e.g. deep breathing, focusing your thinking, having a (positive) mantra you can use at those times. Maybe it's worth checking out different things online as different things can help different people.
And do you think anything that's gone on in your life/or going on could be contributing to the way you're feeling?? Maybe some changes you need to make or more support you need to deal with things??
If nothing is really helping though it might be an idea to try some therapy or visit your doctor for a referral to someone who may be able to help you.
But, yes, it's definitely something!! And it matters!!
Best wishes
Alison
Thanks for this!
