Sure you can do it.

It is the only fair and honest thing to do, so I'm sure that's what you want to do. In fact, your grammatical slip there says you do: "my mind keeps telling me to go back..."

It will make you feel proud and boost your self-esteem to finish out your notice. You said you would be there and they are counting on you and you don't want to disappoint them. You want to be proud of you and that means going back and working the days you said you would.

It will be an accomplishment. Some of the greatest accomplishments are small but awesome because we accomplish them in spite of fears.

Hang in there! Sunday will come and go and you will be proud of yourself for doing the right thing! i can do it cant i?

Hi Skittles,

Yes, you can do it!! I know you can!!
Just think of it this way, if it was you that were still going to be working there, and someone else was quitting this Sunday, would you want them to just not show up these last two days? No, you wouldn't. It would make it harder on you.
So, you have to do it for all the other workers that are going to be stuck there working after you are gone.
Right?
I knew you would agree!!
Good for you!!
Yes, you can!!
Hugs,
Linda

You can do it and it's a good idea to do for yourself! Whether or not you leave them stranded, if you ever need it on your resume, ever need references, etc. and there's the "habit" you're starting. Some people don't go back and get in that habit so they quit jobs without notice and don't go back, etc. and it catches up with them eventually. I like to work on finishing what I start to the best of my ability. Do it for yourself, not for the Waffle House.

Hello Skittles. I feel if you think about the positive attitude that you have about feeling accomplished if you finish your job, will be very important to you when you feel that you did a very mature thing and you actually did the right thing. WE all learn very meaningful lessons on life and many times as said above it it not really all the big overwhelming things that always matter but the pride and joy and comfort that comes from within that really counts at times. Take care I hope the best for you Skittles hang in there you can do it. Sincerely Soidhonia
