Lately I've been extremely uncomfortable (more like terrified) with looking at myself in the mirror and anything that shows my reflection because they've triggered panic attacks and depersonalization stuff... I just wanna see your thoughts on this because I've never had this problem before and it just popped up ...

I have done this but I was already in the middle of a panic attack when it happened. The site of myself in the mirror would terrify me. Are the mirrors triggering you?

Mirrors are my enemy, looking in one triggers a massive panic attack.

Not sure if this will help.....I avoid looking into mirrors because It triggers me due to my age. I see the wrinkles and in a flash I am reminded of all my failures. All the ways I have messed up. All the things I have not accomplished.

I'm having a lot of trouble with mirrors lately. I hate them. They're watching me.

I once smashed my big bathroom mirror because I thought it had cameras behind it. The guy who replaced it did a terrible job on sealing it - big ugly seams of silicone.

I only have one mirror in my home, in the bathroom, and that is more than enough.

afraid of mirrors????

I need to be afraid - with all that shattered glass on the ground after I look into the mirror.

same, and eye contact, it takes me a lot of time to take a picture of myself of any kind, i just figure to try and do it sometimes to avoid crawling back into the isolation hole.

Perhaps this might help you
