I've suffered from anxiety for years. Usually I would get a reprieve from my anxiety during "that week". Lately I don't get a reprieve, it is that constant discomfort/pain in my chest, holding my breath, clenching my teeth and frowning.
Has anyone experienced this? PS, just had some creamy coconut ice cream, almost as good as a klonopin.

I'm the exact opposite, my symptoms seem to worsen while I'm on my period. I tend to get paranoid and sometimes suicidal. (It's a real site to see).
Have you been under any stress lately? Maybe that's the cause.... |

I always used to get anxious and irritable before my period and then as soon as I started it would all melt away. Now I find that it takes up to a week after my period for the symptoms to die down. I'm 49 and my hormones are all over the place and sometimes my periods come every 12 days. More or less everything that has been normal for my cycle over the last 37 years has been turned on its head recently, the only thing I can say with any certainty is that nothing surprises me anymore.

Yep it's worse for me about a week before, but I'm also depressive and Moody during that time.

I'm always more anxious during my period, and meds seem to wear off faster (have to take more for the same results)
