I find lately when I get an anxiety or panic.I do something pretty severe. My stomach hurts any food I have in it feels like it's invading my tummy. I make myself vomit but only when on anxious.I think I'm just trying to feel something else not sure at all..

I have bad anxiety and panic problems too - I find it best to hide out and be alone for a while when I get like that. It helps me calm down.
Please try not to make yourself vomit when you're stressed... it could form into a bad habit that will cause very bad health problems for you. Maybe you can try secluding yourself in your room for a while or going for a walk alone instead to calm yourself down... I know that changing your behavior is not as easy as someone on a forum saying "you shouldn't do that it's not healthy" but really there are very bad health consequences to your digestive system, teeth/gum health and body overall. Inducing vomiting releases endorphins that make you feel better temporarily so can become addictive from what I understand, but it can be just as bad or even worse for your body than a drug/alcohol addiction... Sorry if I sound preachy because I'm not trying to - I do unhealthy things to deal with my anxiety problems too so I do understand and am probably a hypocrite for my advice... either way I know where you're coming from and I understand how hard anxiety and panic attacks can be... please be well and try to take care of yourself - I hope things get better for you soon ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

I agree with nowheretohide. I also want to say that I understand the feeling. Just today I had a panic attack for no apparent reason. My heart was pounding a million miles a minute. Tried the breathing didn't help.. So I just prayed. I felt some release...I like to alone with lights off and little light from window. Sometimes during break at work I will put soothing music on..
