Someone please help me. I have always had anxiety like before a big event I will get upset stomach. But here lately for about 6 months, I get so panicked at night I can't even sleep and I get so upset I start puking and my stomach gets upset. The worst part of it all is idk what I'm even upset about. I have a great relationship with everyone in my life. I don't owe anyone all my bills are paid up in full and I work full time at a job I love. I literally have to stay up all night to keep from being sick. Someone Help me please! I need help, I don't know what else to do.

Hello msp9052, welcome to Psych Central!

Please get checked out by a doctor to rule out any physical issues because it could be something to do with lying down if it happens when you try to sleep. You say you have always had anxiety which is fear. So, is it possible to work out what might be triggering it? If you can figure out the triggers then you can start to deal with it. Please have a think about talking to your doctor and look into medication as sleep is really important and also think about seeking therapy. Keep sharing here, we understand.
