So I was just watching this show about stories based in real life about the Virgin Mary making miracles for people. Each episode is different. Today it was about 2 girls who put sleeping pills in the teachers water so she'd sleep and not pass out a test they were having but then one of the girls boyfriend was choking on his saliva and the teacher offered him a glass of water, the one the girls poured the pills in and he had a allergic reaction to it and had a seizure. The seizure damaged his brain and became a vegetable so they had to disconnect him. That gave me a lot of anxiety because I take sleeping pills to sleep. I mean, I know I'm not allergic to them because I've taken them for more than two weeks but I want my therapist to prescribe me some medicine for my depression and panic disorder. And now I'm worried that I might have an allergic reaction. I mean, I don't know what I'm allergic to. They kept saying how, his brain was dead but his body was still alive. Then I started thinking about all those homeless that are crazy, they basically are not conscious, they're basically dead. They're mentally ill and I'm mentally ill. I'm scared I'll lose my mind like them and I'll basically be dead.

I think way too much. I've been jumping from couch to couch, I'm still in my pajamas and I haven't showered in like 3 days. I'm not hungry and have no energy to do anything. I was not like this. I have my 1st therapy session tomorrow but I'm scared it won't help.

I'm just a scared little human.

P.S. Sorry for taking up so much space on the anxiety, panic, phobias and depression forums. I just don't have anyone to talk to.

Is this La Rosa de Guadalupe? I like that show. I'm glad you have your first therapist session tomorrow. I am hoping it will help you. Just be as honest as you can.

Yes, it is La Rosa de Guadalupe. I like it too but most of the episodes are really sad and trigger a lot of my panics. I hope so too. Thank you!

Okay be you can try and find something different to watch? Or maybe find a hobbie you can do to make sure you're busy when the show comes on- or out of the house at that time. Let us know how your appt goes.
Thanks for this!
