What the dosage in mg of buspar?

I started buspar about 1 week ago. I know it takes time to kick-in but I was wondering what are the lowest, average, and highest dose of buspar that you can take. Thank you.

I take 30 MG twice a day.

I take 15mg twice per day (30mg/daily). 60mg is the highest you can go on Buspar. 30mg is average. Lowest...can be whatever works.

Thanks you Sister Rags and pbutton! For the information you gave me about the dose of buspar I could be taking. I am just starting out, so my dose is baby small. 5 mg/3 x's a day! My psychiatrist that we raise it next month. He told me it takes three days to feel it. I am under so much stress with my boyfriend dying of Chronic Liver Disease. But that is another story...I take buspar to try to stop worrying about him day in and day out, 24/7/365! It takes a lot out of me to go through this with my schizoaffective disorder! I was so scared that I would have a psychotic relapse! My symptoms seem to be under control with abilify 30 mg/in the am.
