cant make my mind up

today was supposed to be my last day.... but the boss asked me if i was coming back and i told him if they needed me..... one day im all for the job and the next im freakin out about it........ why is this happening........

Well, it's nice to feel wanted! That can make all the difference in a job.

indecision is tough...especially with huge issues in our lives such as jobs. i think it's because we worry if we're making the right decision, letting others down when they need us, etc. could that come into play here?

maybe you have a worry that's contributing to your wavering?

It's hard for me to let go of anything I "know" for the unknown. I was forced to go part-time (lose vacation, most benefits) at my job for the last year or so and was hating it but when I finally could quit, I'd been there almost eight years and had relationships, etc. so it was still difficult to leave. I had good friends there and went back 2-3 times to "visit" and the friends have been to my new house, etc. It can take awhile to move on.

i think im gonna stay..some of the ppl dont want me to go.... and i think that nice..... i think they like my work so ill stick around for a while.

Some of your anxiety might go away with time as you get used to the job. It is still pretty new. Good luck! I hope it works out well for you!

Good for you!!! You will get more comfortable as time goes on.
