so as i said in my post in this section i have GAD and tonight i realized that my fears might not be pinpointed on one thing more like i'm scared of different things and focusing it on certain people or things in my life. i'm afraid of different things and my mind feels like it focuses on other things that don't need worrying. so i hope that i can overcome this because i'm tired of being afraid, crying and having to panic all the time. so again if anyone can help me to figure out ways to stop obsessing on these fears the help would be great. PLEASE HELP! I'M SCARED!

I suppose you are not on meds or in treatment? I actually have a lot of panic attacks, fear, anxiety and depression. I'm on meds and I have my first therapyst appointment on July 18th.
I spent a lot of time alone at home and I have a lot of issues that makes my mind explode. The only thing that makes my mind be a little calm is reading.
It makes me go out of reality.
I also try some mp3 guided meditation.
I know how difficult is try to stop fears.

Face your fears! You've probably heard it a million times but I'm going to explain it again. The only way not to be afraid is to do exactly what your afraid of to reassure yourself that you will be okay. It may not work the first time and you may have to keep doing whatever your afraid of. That way you can look back on that event and say," I did it once before what's stopping me now."
Also you are letting your fear take over you it's controlling you because you are letting it. If don't feel ready to go out on your own grab a friend or a family member you trust and have them help you. They will be able to give you a push in the right direction.
You may be really nervous at first but you overcome your fears you'll feel great relief. Be sure to reward yourself with a treat after you've accomplish something you can also use that for your motivation. good luck
Thanks for this!
