Ever since I was in my teens I have been scared about stuff in outer space. I am anxious about this super moon and have read all about it but still don't have peace of mind. Can anyone help.

What is it about space that makes you anxious? Is it that something will go wrong or just the idea of space that freaks you out?

I am always afraid that something will go wrong and like the moon will crash into us. I have been depressed and my mind tends to twist the facts. I spent hours looking up the facts about the super moon but my emotions take over the facts. If I told anyone my fears they would think I was crazy!! I probably am anyway ! Am trying to get a therapist again as mine retired and the psychiatrist quit so my support team quit.

super moon occurs because the orbit of the moon is elliptical and is closer at 1 point of its orbit
rest assured the moon cant crash into us!
