Pip benefit in UK

Does anyone from the UK know if you have to have 12 points in "planning and following a journey", as well as, 12 points "moving around", to qualify for enhanced mobility.

OR

You can just have 12 points in the planning & following a journey part, in order to earn enhanced mobility benefit?

Hey, magicberrie, and welcome to Psych Central! Alas for your purposes, I am not from the UK. You might try posting this question in this forum: http://forums.psychcentral.com/insurance-finances/.

I hope you get some answers soon.

Hi,

I've just signed up as a new member. I live in the UK and I'm a retired Welfare Rights Lawyer, and former DLA Tribunal Member.

You only need 12 points to qualify for the enhanced mobility component of PIP, it can be either be for 'moving around' or 'planning & following a journey'

I hope this information is of help to you.

Good luck

Jim
